Who we work with
Trusted by operators at the sharp end of AI adoption.
Caversham House works with firms where AI is a board-level concern: regulated financial services, global manufacturing, private capital, and AI-native software businesses. Our engagements span structured teardowns, AI roadmaps, fractional CTO leadership and ongoing advisory. We also build and back AI-native businesses of our own.
“Chris was pivotal for the inception of Venato.ai. He ensured the platform was built on a proper foundation, setting it up for success in the era of AI-first software companies.”
“We work closely with Caversham House on major AI delivery engagements. Chris’s combination of deep engineering experience and clear strategic thinking makes him one of the most effective AI advisors we partner with.”
“Caversham House has become our trusted partner in shaping e4's AI strategy. Chris is integral to how we think about AI and has really helped us shape our approach to embedding AI capabilities into our VERSA platform, giving our team the clarity and confidence to move forward from an AI perspective. Their AI training courses have also been clear, practical and all useful for our team.”

We work with organisations where AI is a board-level concern, including regulated financial services, global manufacturing, private capital and AI-native software businesses. Our sector experience includes lending and financial services, global packaging and manufacturing, commercial real estate and private equity, regulatory technology, enterprise SaaS and aviation consulting. Our training is available to individuals, teams and enterprises, through training partners, and for schools, colleges and universities.
Our advisory clients typically have between 20 and 200 staff.
We start with where you are today, not with the technology. Our approach has four stages: Assess, Prioritise, Enable and Deliver.
Assess and Prioritise are done once. Enable and Deliver continue, because AI changes quickly.
A Technical Teardown and Strategic Roadmap typically takes two to four weeks.
Our online training is available by annual subscription: Individual £800 / $1,000 per year; Team £6,000 / $7,500 per year for up to 10 people; Enterprise (11+ people) with custom pricing. You can try Module 1 of our Foundation Course for free.
Chris Hornby, Co-founder & Chief Executive, leads our advisory work, from the Technical Teardown and Roadmap through to advisory during delivery. Philippa Cameron, Co-founder & Learning Director, leads our training.
For software engineering and build work, we partner with Lightbloom. Otherwise, you work directly with us, senior to senior.
We sign an NDA as standard. Every engagement also includes agreeing an AI policy that protects customer data and sets clear guardrails (the Enable stage of our approach).
During an engagement we collect only the information we need, keep it in access-controlled systems available only to the people working on your engagement, and handle any personal data in line with UK GDPR. When the engagement ends, we return or securely delete your data unless we agree in writing to keep it, for example for an ongoing advisory retainer.
