You don't get 10x faster by breeding better horses

You don't get 10x faster by breeding better horses. You invent the car.

And you don't get 100x faster by building a better car. You invent the aeroplane.

In my domain (software), we've already seen those jumps.

• Human → AI-assisted development was the 10x.
• AI-assisted → agentic development is the 100x.

I'm convinced we'll see the same thing across all domains.

We see this already with clients:

• using tools like Lovable to put prototypes in customer hands in a day, or
• letting decision-makers talk directly to their data without complicated BI layers.

Finding the place where AI lets you do the work completely differently is a real ah-ha moment.

It's not easy to find, but it's worth the effort.
